You can solo the boss at level 24, but it will be a bit challenging, since he does hit fairly hard and has a relatively high attack speed. If Gheist Malikor hasn't spawned, you'll need to wait a minute or two before engaging him.
One thing to note is that you currently need to be level 24 to start the quest, which makes sense after you meet the undead patrolling around Walsham.Īs you near the location of the quest marker, interact with the blue glowing shape on the ground to place the Trace Absorber. You can walk all the way to Walsham (the marker on the map will guide you), or fast travel to Shadowmine Shrine in Everfall if you have it unlocked.
